I added this song to the playlist about a month ago and ever since, listeners have been calling and e-mailing non-stop, asking for more information about the artist and the song! I’m thrilled to see such an immediate positive reaction. I’ve been in contact with SJ’s promoter, who will be sending me the full album once it is released. Look forward to more from SJ! Until then, keep listening to WJHS and feel free to check out his official website: http://www.sjacoustic.com/
I just updated the WJHS website with a brand new layout/look!
Let us know what you think!
Also, be sure to check out the post below. I finally added the top 10 songs of 2010, as added on WJHS! :)

This was a TOUGH decision. I went through the list of tracks added from January 2010 to December 2010. Out of 118 songs, I had to choose 10. TEN. Tough? Absolutely it was! I took a lot into consideration: frequently requested songs by listeners, chart-toppers, popularity/growth of the band, etc.
First, let’s start with some honorary mentions. These are the songs that just BARELY missed the top 10 because they were added before the January ‘10, were heavily requested by not added in ‘10, or were added but didn’t quite make the cut!
Great songs, right? I know what you’re thinking: after all of those, are there any left?! With that in mind, I present the top 10 songs of 2010, as played on WJHS.
10. “Stones Under Rushing Water” by Needtobreathe
9. “Song Away” by Hockey
8. “Little Lies” by Dave Barnes
7. “Breakeven” by the Script
6. “Half of my Heart” by John Mayer
5. “Here I Am” by Heartsfield
4. ”Maybe Then You’ll Know” by Conner Cecil
3. “Red River” by Rocky Votolato
2. “Kandi” by One eskimO
1. “Little Lion Man” by Mumford & Sons
Judging by the latest adds to WJHS (Stevie Nicks, REM, Kings of Leon, Mt. Desolation, Brett Dennen, etc.), 2011 is already shaping up to be a great music year!
